My 11 year old rescue tore her right ccl playing out in the yard. I was told she would need surgery to repair . The chances of the left tearing were very likely during recovery of right. Most likely would need surgery on both. The recovery would be long and difficult. I was heartbroken for my girl.
I’m a physical therapist assistant and started looking at bracing options. Tried some amazon options and they did not work. I came across this brace and watched some YouTube videos of other dogs wearing brace.
Daisy learned to get around on 3 legs but I really worried about her wearing out left. Once we received brace it fit perfect. I was impressed with every aspect. My patients wear braces of all kinds and I’m comparing to what I see in my profession. Daisy puts full weight on her right leg wearing brace . When brace is off she continues to put weight on her leg. Wearing brace playing with other dogs, walking, hiking and out in yard has allowed her to build up muscle and scar tissue to help support that tear. February I decided to foster a puppy for a rescue. Daisy kept up and loved running with her.
Daisy will have a follow up with her vet for annuals soon. I plan on recommending this brace for those that opt out of surgery. I am happy with my purchase and thankful Daisy has a good quality of life again. Her hiking, walking, running and playing days are not over. The video was her first walk wearing brace.

The kit has everything you need to cast your pets leg.
We did our first cast with our dog laying down. Our second cast we did with her standing. We needed help as it took 4 people. My husband is a Physician Assistant and has done many castings, we still needed extra people to hold the dog still, standing and the leg in the correct position.

Luckily haven't had to use the wheelchair yet. However, it is very well made and I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

The casting kit worked fine and the Ortho Brace fits perfectly. It adds support to her rear leg from the torn ligament and her knee Knee.
